Tip to prevent or greatly delay the rolled-up awning from prematurely tearing up: It usually deteriorates from Sun / UV damage. The Sun is a tough weapon. Get any water based latex paint and when the awning is rolled up against the RV, paint that area of it that is exposed to the Sun. Give it a couple of thin coats. White or a light color is better. Will probably have to do this every year or two to keep it from deteriorating prematurely. Doing something like 303 spray has to be done every 60 days, and still isn't as tough as the thicker latex paint sunblock.

I added an inverter and 2 105 Ah lithium batteries to our Imagine so we run off of power. The idea of running with propane on is not something we were in favor of. After we blew a tire once which in turn busted a propane line at the fitting there is no way I would do that. I've not run any specific tests but it is interesting to see how much power we use while traveling but still maintaining the required fridge and freezer temperature. If temps are high we will bump up the setting the night before then turn it down and move freezer packs into the fridge.

Would love to see a video on diesel & reading the dash, control systems & driving trips. Going from gas to diesel is an amazing change & some helpful tips on the gauges, controls, and overall handling would be very helpful.

as a licensed heavy duty technician working for the city maintaining atleast 250 buses every single day I am subjectiveto this. Yes it works when sealing roof hatch but 5 to 10 years along the road the thing just start leaking water inside. That’s not the worst part but to remove it is a P.I.T.A. That is why we stop using this product for a while now.

How do you actually plug in the 12v power??? There's a 110 drop in my trailer and coax and satelite drop but no 12v setup??

You heed me a lot when I started with my travel trailer 4 years ago and I learned a lot from your guidance. My trailer is not as complicated as the ones you show but it's always interesting to watch. Dumb question here...is a 15/16 ft travel trailer basically the same as far as the upkeep on these kinds of things? I'm new to this and now on my own after almost 34 yr marriage...like I said, dumb question but wanted to ask those that are more or less pros out there.

I think you’ve been letting your dogs drink too much. They look drunk! The thermostat here is pretty pricey. I don’t remember if it was one of your videos but I just got a thermostat for less than $30 that I intend to replace mine with. I can’t stand these thermostats that come with trailers and there is no digital display.

Vinegar, I use that stuff in my inground swimming pool, eats algae, I use it on my drive way with oil leaks, it removes the black that tires leave on drive way cement, electric coffee makers, washing machine, every water tap, shower heads. After soaking in the vinegar the places I used it now become like new again

Thanks for your awesome videos! I've been watching you channel like crazy since getting my travel trailer! One idea for an improvement on this device would be to have Android auto or car play integration so you can level without having to prop the phone up.

Bought a new travel trailer. Missing a stabilizer in the back, the dining room table kept falling down, dining room blinds kept falling down, and the outdoor kitchen door kept binding up. Four months later, they installed the stabilizer unit, fixed the dining room table, and replaced the outdoor kitchen door assembly. I still had to fix the outdoor kitchen door and the dining room blinds.😮I then tighten up the electrical junction box; the nuts were hand tighten. Other than that everything works. Happy trails.

Does the foaming coil cleaner damage the rubber roof ? Even if you wipe it off it will get wet when it rains and run across the roof

Don't forget to clean hoses, I've literally had salad growing in mine in a summer in fla. Where our RV was being used as a horse show office.

We never put toilet paper in rhe tank and when we go somewhere in to town we always put some ice in the tank and letit slosh around ... put a borecamera and its clean ,works for me

We use awning tie downs with heavy duty spikes and springs to keep it in place. Never had any issues with it.

Great video. I have an IRV 36 that plays ok, except when on low volume it plays the FM/AM audio even when set to another source. Defective or wiring issue? Only 4 months old new from factory...

2024 Keystone Springdale 1800BH 20. Travel Trailer. No metal at all in the Tv mounting Bracket decal area. I tried a magnet on the stud area (16" apart per my stud finder) and they appear to be be wood.

I've owned a couple of popup campers but they didn't have black or gray tanks. I had the general idea of how they worked from seeing my friends campers, but this video definitely helped me better understand it all. Thanks for great content, it will hopefully help me with my my new travel trailer I pick up in a few days.

only one thing I did different is remove the model tag and relocate

I use a bidet so there is no TP. I wonder if I will eventually need to black tank flush. I am scared to flush until I replace the cheap internal vacuum breaker that can leak in your RV. I need to make that an external brass fitting.
